How easy is it to install the Blinder Laser jammer and can I move it from vehicle to vehicle?

Laser guns present the biggest obstacle to speeders. Because their light beams are so narrow, radar/laser detectors can rarely detect them soon enough to give you time to slow down. If a laser-gun operator has you in his crosshairs, your radar detector will probably only be able to warn you when it's too late.
Although it is illegal in every state to attempt to jam radar guns, it's still perfectly legal to jam lasers in most. Nine states have banned laser jammers: California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee,Texas, Utah and Virginia. WHERE IS THE M27 AND M47 LASER JAMMER INSTALLED?
The Blinder M27 is designed to detect laser guns where they aim the laser beam, which is in the grille, on the headlights and license plate. The laser beam can be 6” wide (at 300 feet) to 36” wide (at 1500 feet). Most police aim laser at a vehicle between 300 and 700 feet.

WEB Updates: Once the download is finished, reconnect the Blinder interface, as required, in the vehicle. Do not leave the USB connector plugged into the Blinder during operation.

2.12 Update Process
This is a clarified Update Procedure. The changes are only minor and just reflect the way the system behaves during the Erase Process and Programming Process so that the user understands in a little more detail exactly what the system is doing. This Update Procedure was review and OK'd by Blinder-Guy. The fields in RED reflect the clarifications....
I've attached a PDF of this same procedure, to the end of this post so you can download and print it off, instead of cutting / pasting then fiddling with the format in order to print off you own copy.

ERASE PROCESS:
1. Turn Off the power and remove the CPU from the vehicle
2. Connect the CPU’s USB port to your computer.
3. Highlight the "2.12-US ERASE" in the left menu.
4. Click at the button "UPDATE CPU FIRMWARE"

April 23, 2011 -- Out of the box, Blinder has integrated all required wiring, an exterior speaker, the CPU, and two jammer heads. The M27 and M47 are also internet updatable via your home computer for free to protect against future threats.
The installation is practically easy. By currently being marginally acquainted with vehicle electronics, an amateur installer can very easily wire up this unit. All that is required is a power source, and a ground. Wiring the jammer heads via the firewall is manufactured quick by the telephone style connectors which are little ample to operate through the smallest hole. Then all that is left is mounting the jammer heads. This is exactly where it will get a small tough.

Over time the lenses or our jammer heads get exposed to road grit and debris that can cause pitting, light scratches and haziness. So in order to maximize detection and jamming, I decided to restore / repair a lens in order to show you how easy it is to keep your system performing at it's peak.
This HOWTO is not intended to prevent you from purchasing replacement lenses from Blinder-Guy. If you have a lens that is severely damaged by a large rock i.e. cracked or has a deep gouge, then of course you should replace it. This guide is merely to show you how to restore a mildly worn or weather lens.
I've had my Blinder system install for approx 10 months. I do a TON of driving and have put my Lenses through hell, so I would say that restoring the lenses every 12 months should be just fine for the average user/driver. You could probably do it every 6 months if you are OCD. :P
