Question Tennessee and Kentucky Radar Bands

So I just moved to Fort Campbell which is smack on the border of Tennessee and Kentucky. I've had X-band on since I got here which has been almost a week. I didn't really think X-band would be an issue I just put it on just in case. That being said while driving On-Post I ran across a speed sign using x-band which has me wondering now. I've also picked up a few x-band signals in town but haven't figured out where their coming from yet. What do you guys think?

In Tennessee you should not need x band as it is not used there. Kentucky is a different story they still use x band to my knowledge but I not sure how much.
driving it like you stole it. Out run the police with out getting caught.
