Thread: Bad CPU, and what about the transponders?

I contacted Blinder USA and explained what happened after I installed the latest update, I was told that the CPU was bad and that it needs to be replaced. They also told me that when I get the new CPU that I should just hook everything up and you're good to go, and no need for an update.
Now, my concern is the transponders, should I erase the transponders, before I install new CPU?

i would suggest to erase them and load them with the fresh software

i just went through a similar situation. i didn't erase the heads, got back my new cpu just plugged it in ,the heads updated themselves. good to go

Finally, I received the replacement M47 CPU, for my bad one, but before hooking everything up I contacted Blinder USA again, just to be on the safe side, to ask them if I need to erase the transponders before installing the CPU, they told me that I should just install the CPU and that it will program the transponders, then it’ll be all set and the jammer system should be ready for use. And now I’m happy to announce that my M47 is up and running again! I would like to thank all the replies I've got from you guys, and of course thanks to Blinder USA for their support.
